New Eatery, Other Retailers Open At Plaza In Westchester

Four new retailers, including a new eatery, have opened up shop at a busy strip plaza in Westchester.

The new businesses, all located in Yonkers at the Fleetwood Plaza located at 850 Bronx River Rd. right by the Cross County Parkway, celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, May 1 with Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano in attendance.

One of the new retailers to open at the plaza is Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard, which serves a variety of frozen desserts that will certainly satisfy anyone with a sweet tooth.

In addition to countless flavors of Italian ice and frozen custard, the dessert shop also sells gelati, milkshakes, and "concrete," described as "creamy, rich thick custard loaded with tasty toppings" on the eatery's website.

The location also sells frozen coffee treats.
